Makovica is located in Upper Saris, halfway between Bardejov and Svidnik, in the Low Beskydy Mountains, next to the village of Nižná Polianka.
Here you will find a 900 m long intermediate (red) slope with an attractive profile. The slope is technically snow-covered and regularly groomed. In case of good snow conditions, there is also a snow park on Makovica. The ski slope is served by a ski lift. There is a cafeteria with a home kitchen and free wifi internet access at the lower lift station.
