One of the popular easy routes for cyclists directly in the city of Prešov and its surroundings runs along the Torysa River. It is flat, without elevation, so it is suitable for beginners, recreational cyclists, families with children and bicycle carts.

The cycling trail starts at the city hall in Prešov and ends in Veľký Šariš, which is also known for the remains of Šariš Castle, one of the most sought-after attractions in the Prešov area. However, you can also see the Roman Catholic chapel of St. Kunhuta from the middle of the 14th century, which is extremely valuable thanks to its beautifully preserved Gothic architecture. The oldest preserved steam locomotive in Slovakia, built in 1882, is also a historical monument of the town, located in the area of the railway station Veľký Šariš.
