For a day trip is ideal Slanská cyklomagistrála, which leads through the volcanic mountains of the Slanské hills on an asphalt road from the town of Prešov through the villages of Dulova Ves, Kokošovce, Zlatá Baňa to the village Červenica. It starts at the Solivar complex in Prešov, which is an important technical monument in Slovakia, and passes through the Sigord recreation area with a water reservoir. Directly on it there are mineral springs at Zlatá Baňa and Sigord, the former Pioneer Railway in the village of Zlatá Baňa, or the SNP monument in Pustom Pol. You can also see the protected poniklec, for which a nature reserve has been declared. The cycle route is marked with a red cycle sign and is suitable for all groups of cyclists as well as children and bicycle carts. One of the most interesting attractions in this part of Šariš is the world-famous Slovak Opal Mine, where in 1775 miners mined the largest known opal - Harlequin. It is currently stored in the Natural History Museum in Vienna.
