The singletracks in Prešov are very popular among off-road cycling enthusiasts, which together form eight routes of varying difficulty with a total length of approximately twenty kilometres. They are also suitable for moderately fit mountain bikers looking for adrenaline and fun. The surface of the trails is mostly packed dirt. There are roots, stones, bridges and jumps or sharp bends.
Prešov singletracks belong to the most attractive cycling areas in Prešov and its surroundings. They are well marked and maintained in excellent condition. The routes lead through Malkovská hora, to the recreation centre Cemjata (Kyslá and Kvašná voda), to Haniska (Borkút) and from there you can also get to the Prešov Calvary. You can relax on the top of Malkovská hôrka, but also near Borkút, where tourist shelters are built. Around Borkút there is also a nature trail of the City Forests, which draws attention to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Above the village of Haniska, on Furča Hill, the monument to the Peasant Uprising, which was built to commemorate the Peasant Revolt of 1831, is clearly visible from a distance.
