Lachnov
If you long for peace, a place "God has your back", visit the mountain village of Lačnov. Locals and visitors refer to it as the Vlkolínec of Šariš. You won't find tourist information centres or crowds of photographers here, but you will certainly find a unique genius loci that will delight you. Many of the residential houses are cultural monuments, a unique building is the Greek-Catholic church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel, which dominates among the scattered original houses.Rich representation of medicinal plants
Ján Andraščík, a Slovak national awakener, is one of the important natives of the village. He also has a memorial room in the village. The beautiful surroundings of rugged mountain meadows offer a walk and if you feel like it, collecting medicinal plants, which are abundant in this part of the region, will enhance the feeling of how beautiful our Slovak world is. The village is best accessible by car from the road No. 18 near the village of Fričovce. From Prešov on the highway turn left after the village of Hendrichovce and then before the village of Fričovce turn right towards Lipovce. From Poprad, it is possible to turn on the motorway direction Široké - Fričovce, at the next crossroads turn right to go through the whole of Fričovce, after the sign marking the end of the village there is a crossroads with the direction to Lipovce.
