Listening to the rich sounds of nature invites you to wooden megaphone near the village of Zlata Baňa. The 4-metre-long wooden megaphone was created by four young men from the ‘Voice of the Forest’ civic association and built by 15 men in their spare time.
The core of the megaphone consists of seven rings, made up of 63 parts. The rings are connected by three four-metre prisms. A person can sit inside the megaphone and immediately take in the sounds of nature. The enormous 2.5-tonne structure is deliberately shaped like a nonagonal pyramid. This shape has the property of concentrating the rays and waves reflected from its walls into a single point. Anyone sitting near this point will therefore hear amplified sounds from the surrounding area and can comfortably listen to what the forest has to say.
This unique attraction is the second of its kind in Europe; the only other one of its kind can be found in Estonia.

At the start of the cycle path in Prešov, there are signposts to guide you along the route through Kokošovciace, Sigord, Zlatá Baňa and past the car park to the megaphone itself.
