The Gallery and Museum of Folk Art in the village of Fintice was established in 2014 and its activities are the result of a project programme to strengthen the cultural potential of the region. Its activities are focused on building and presenting a collection with a regional focus. It brings visitors closer to the history of the village of Fintice in three exhibitions dedicated to Jozef Kolarčík-Fintický, the East Slovak ethnographic collector, the noble families in Fintice, archaeology and the life of the Fintice people. The task of the museum is to preserve the rich historical and cultural traditions of the village of Fintice not only for the local inhabitants, but especially for tourists, whom we warmly welcome in our exposition. The tour of the museum by personal arrangement also includes a tour of the church and the tomb of the Dessewffy family. The museum is located in the historic building of the former Baroque granary, which is part of the national cultural monument.
