The Church of St. Martin was built at the turn of the 13th - 14th century in the late Romanesque style in the centre of the then settlement. It was dedicated to St. Bishop Martin of Tours and belonged to the estates of the lords of Kamenický hrad. The founder of the church was Rikolf Tarcai/Tarczay. The ceiling of the church did not have Gothic vaults as today, but was flat. It was made of wooden beams and wooden infill, so the nave looked visually more powerful. The church tower served as an observation tower for Kamenický hrad. Its jewel is the late Gothic main altar from the workshop of Master Paul of Levoča from the period 1512 - 1520. The church is surrounded by a small park and avenues better, the oldest of which is over three hundred and twenty years old.
