Wooden filial church in Frička was built on a slight elevation in the middle of the village in 1829. From this period, the church has retained its present appearance, although it underwent extensive modifications in 1933 and 1971. It is dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel. Structurally, it is a three-part, three-space, two-towered church with three crosses. The temple is built on a stone foundation. The construction of the temple is log, with columns at the tower.
The west side is dominated by a massive tower with space for three bells, the oldest of which dates back to 1697.
In the temple there is an iconostasis made of wood, separating the sanctuary and the nave. It dates from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The iconostasis has a five-aisle architecture. The first - the main row is composed of the following icons: St. Bishop Nicholas, the Mother of God Hodigitria, Christ the Teacher, the patronizing icon of St. Michael the Archangel. The second row of icons are the icons of the feasts, which are unconventionally partitioned by the Veraikon. The following third row is made up of icons of the Apostles, with the icon of Christ the High Priest in the centre. The fourth row of prophets consists of six icons with pairs of figures. The fifth row is placed below the main icons. These four icons depict events: St. Nicholas Bishop calms the sea, St. Anthony and Theodosius, the Three Hierarchs, St. John the Baptist. The iconostasis ends with the Crucifixion, with the figures of the Mother of God and St. John the Evangelist on the sides.
Within the iconostasis there is a richly carved Tsar's door with six medallions depicting the four Evangelists and scenes from the Annunciation. The space above the two deacon's doors is filled with the icon of the Last Supper and the icon of the Entombment of Jesus. The painting of the ceiling of the sanctuary dates from the 20th century.
