The Greek-Catholic wooden church in the village of Jedlinka was built in 1736. It is dedicated to the Byzantine feast of the „Most Holy Theotokos Protectress“ and was built in log style. The temple consists of a sanctuary, a nave and a narthex. Each part of the building has its own tower with a dome and a cross. On the main temple tower there are unique sound holes carved in the form of a triangle. Three bells hang in the main temple tower. The temple towers and the temple roof are covered with split wooden shingles. The temple is enriched with an imagined vestibule. From this vestibule, wooden stairs lead to the tower with the bells. The door fittings date back to the period when this wooden church was built.
The altar in the sanctuary has a divine tabernacle for the keeping of the Eucharist with an icon of the Nativity of our Sovereign, the Mother of God, Mary, ever Virgin, which dates from the 19th century. On the left side of the sanctuary is the altar for the preparation of the offerings for the Divine Liturgy with a precious icon of the Most Holy Mother of God, the Protectress, which dates from the 18th century.
The temple has a special icon-adorned wall with three doors, which stands between the nave and the sanctuary. This iconostasis dates from the 18th century. It consists of four rows of icons. In the main row there are the following icons: St. Nicholas of Myra, St. Hodegetria (the signpost of the Way), Christ the Teacher and Master, the icon of the Patronage of the Most Holy Mother of God, the Protectress. The Tsar's door has two wings with images of the four Evangelists and the feast of the Annunciation to Our Most Holy Sovereign Lady, Mary, ever Virgin. Above the main row of the iconostasis is a row of icons of the great Byzantine feasts with the icon of the Last Supper. Above the row of icons of the feasts is a row of icons of the Holy Apostles with the icon of Christ the High Priest, who is in the middle of this row. Above the icon of Christ the High Priest is the symbol of the „Eye of God“, which is rarely found in wooden churches.
Above the row of holy apostles on the iconostasis is a row of Old Testament prophets. All the way up on the iconostasis is the icon of the Crucifixion of Christ, flanked by the figures of the Most Holy Mother of God and the Evangelist John. This iconostasis is decorated with wooden carved images of plants and vines. Other icons and liturgical objects in the wooden church in Jedlinka date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
