The village of Miklušovce lies on the southern edge of the Šariš Highlands in the valley of the Sopotnica River, 30 km southwest of Prešov. In its forests you will find rich and diverse flora and fauna. The vast meadows and meadows are home to protected plants such as ponyweed, bindweed and common sailfoot. There are several springs in the municipality, for example in the localities of Baónske, Jaliny, Konáre, Za horu, Pod Skalu and Žľabky, from which the local water supply is also connected.
What you need to visit is Miklusz the Goblin's Fairytale Trail. An original trail with a Šariš sense of humour, it was realized as a nature trail inspired by a story that takes place in the places where you are right now. At the individual stations you will gradually get acquainted with the whole story of Miklus the gnome. You will learn to whom we owe the forest that flourishes here today. A very interesting walk awaits you in a moderately difficult terrain with a length of approximately 4.6 km, with beautiful views and scenery. Simply, a little piece of hidden paradise on earth. See for yourself.
From the village you can also hike towards Roháček (1028.5 m above sea level), the highest peak of the Black Mountain, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Also noteworthy is the natural outdoor gallery, which was created by artists on the initiative of the Sapio civic association and the municipality of Miklušovce in the area near the municipal office.
