Divadlo Jonáša Záborského

Theatre was performed in the city of Prešov as early as in the 17th century - in Latin, Hungarian, German, Slovak, and even in Sharish. The Slovak Theatre in Prešov was officially opened on 30 January 1944. The current programme and tickets for performances can be found at the DJZ box office at 48 Hlavná Street (Mon-Fri 8-18) or on the web.
