Renaissance bell tower

Renaissance brick bell tower in the town of Sabinov dates from 1657.

It was altered in the late 18th century (in the Baroque style) and in 1972. The three-storey square tower, with corner finials, rises from the ground floor to the cornice as a straight parapet. It originally had gables, but these were removed when the mansard roof was added. On the eastern side, the bell tower has a small portal projection with a triangular gable; diagonally above it is a marble plaque bearing a coat of arms and an inscription relating to the year 1657.
