Sabinov will be from 6. until 13 June 2026 belong again to people, culture, traditions and shared experiences. Days of Sabinov, which every year creates a space for the meeting of residents, natives and visitors of the city, will bring during eight days a varied programme combining theatre, music, exhibitions, sports, education and personality awards.
An integral part and natural culmination of this celebration of culture, art and communal life will complement the already 52nd Sabinovsky Fair, which will take place on 11 - 13 June 2026.
Culture within reach during Sabinov Town Days
This year's Days of Sabinov will once again bring a diverse programme that will show that culture in Sabinov is not just an event, but a part of the life of the town.
Program Days of Sabinov kicks off on 6 June with a theatre and music performance I love you, but... directed by Ján Ďurovčík. This will be followed by a classical music concert in the historic church, exhibitions dedicated to the topic of bullying and the history of the Sabinov-Orkucian distillery, as well as an artistic evening by talented pupils of the ZUŠ.
The programme will also include a sports day for schoolchildren, a gala evening with the awarding of the City Prize and the Mayor's Prize, an Open Day at the KIC, a lecture on Samuel Fabry, the premiere of the fairy tale About Budulin and the traditional Fair Doubles.
Sabin fair and rich programme
The end of the week will belong to the traditional Sabinovský fair, which has been one of the most important events in the region for more than 50 years. The historic centre of the town will once again be filled with craft stalls, the aroma of traditional food, the meeting of generations and a varied cultural programme.
Sabinovsky fair will be launched in Thursday 11. June with a festive opening ceremony from the balcony of the town hall, which will be complemented by a drum show Batida and an evening DJ programme.
Friday will be devoted to folklore, traditions, performances of the ZUŠ, ensembles Sabiník and Sabinovčan, the group Čarovné ostrohy and the evening concert Heľenine oči.
Saturday will bring a children's programme, performances by young talents, the Real Street dance group and evening concerts by Zoči Voči, Alan Murín and the band Sám Sebou.
Days of Sabinov and 52. Sabinov Fair will offer a varied programme for families, folklore lovers and fans of modern music.
