Prešov City Days and Trinity Fair 2026 will bring five days of culture, fair atmosphere and news

Centre Prešov will come alive at the beginning of June with one of the biggest city events of the year. Park of Culture and Rest in Prešov in cooperation with the city of Prešov Prepared by Prešov City Days 2026 and Prešov Trinity Fair, which will take place from 3 to 7 June 2026. Visitors can expect a rich cultural programme, a traditional fair, accompanying activities, family zones and several novelties in the city centre.

The event will kick off on Wednesday 3 June when the streets will be filled with stalls, carousels and community activities. The first day will offer space for Prešov's non-profit organizations, showcasing the story of Prešov Gallery and wine tasting at the Viecha stand.

The cultural programme will include folklore, music and an evening concert by Dan Bárta & Robert Balzar Trio. The stages will also present FS Šarišan, the singing group Tovarňanka, Alter Ego and multi-instrumentalist Anton Budinský.

Thursday, June 4: Prešov Day will belong to local performers

Thursday will be dedicated to local performers and ensembles within the framework of the Prešov Day. DFS Šarišanček, ĽH Šarišan, FS Rozmarija, ĽH Jaňička, Brass band DAMA, Edo Klena & Klenoty, Stopa and Chiki liki tu-a will perform.

The programme will be complemented by exhibition openings in Regional Museum a Caraffka City Gallery, as well as the RUN SET running event powered by INTERUN.

Friday, June 5: Main Street turns into a pedestrian zone full of experiences

On Friday, Main Street will be completely closed to traffic and transformed into a space for relaxation, entertainment and community gatherings. Visitors can look forward to new seating right in the street with a light-filled atmosphere, an expanded gastrozone, an IPČKO chill zone, a children's zone with attractions, and a wider range of vendor booths.

The music programme will feature performances by the Rendoš family, Girls from the Moon, Ovarius, Korben Dallas and Vidiek. The day will also include guided tours in Synagogue City Museum, Free Brothers Prešov motorcycle show, workshops and other community activities.

Saturday 6 June: all-day programme for families, music fans and tradition lovers

The weekend programme kicks off on Saturday 6 June with a full day of events for all ages. Kelemeske furmani, multi-instrumentalist Stano Gaľa, Chorus Via Musica, Grimmy, Toddler Punk, FS Karpatyanin, Buchajtramka, Gleb and Nina Kohout will perform.

Visitors will also be able to visit an open day at the Mayor's Office, a performance by the Portal Theatre, an exhibition of historic vehicles by the Veterán Šariš club Prešov or craft activities.

Sunday: end of the event with Aneta Langerová

Sunday will bring theatrical, folklore and musical performances. The programme will include Divadlo na Sídlisku, FS Vranovčan, Žobráci, Júlia and Michal Kentošovci and Družina.

The five-day celebrations will close with a concert by Aneta Langerova.

Trinity Fair will offer more than 200 vendors, a greener approach and free admission to the program

During the whole event, the Prešov Trinity Fair with more than 200 vendors will be prepared in the city centre. Visitors will be able to enjoy traditional food and drinks, visit craft and sales stalls, have fun with children on the carousels or climb the tower St. Nicholas Cathedral.

From the tower, they can enjoy a 70-metre view of the city.

The organisers are also continuing their greener approach and will again introduce a returnable cup system. Days of Prešov will combine tradition, culture, community life and modern elements to make the stay in the city centre more pleasant for visitors.

Admission to the programme is free, except for selected accompanying activities such as some guided tours or climbing the tower. The organisers reserve the right to change the programme. Audiovisual recordings will be made during the event.
