The Regional Tourism Organisation Región Šariš took part in the jubilee 30th HORECA Conference 2026 v Swissôtel Damian Jasná, which is one of the largest professional events for hoteliers, restaurateurs and tourism professionals in Slovakia. The conference brought space for professional discussions, networking, new trends and presentation of projects that shape the future of Slovak tourism.
The Slanské vrchy cooperation project was presented to an expert audience
During the first day of the conference on 18 May, the programme SLOVAKIA TRAVEL, a cooperation project was also presented Slanské vrchy, which connects the actors in the area and promotes the development of this sub-destination as an attractive and sustainable tourist area. The participation of OOCR Region Šariš in the event was an opportunity to present the potential of the Slanské vrchy Mountains to the professional public and to establish new contacts in the tourism sector.
Project Slanské vrchy is built on cooperation, regional identity and the common development of the territory. It aims to raise awareness of the natural, cultural and experiential potential of the area and to create new opportunities for visitors and local partners.
OOCR Region Šariš will continue its activities that support the development of the destination and increase the attractiveness of the region for domestic and foreign visitors.
