The entrance to the Zlá diera Cave, which was formed from limestone and dolomite, is located near the village of Lipovce, where you can park easily. The cave is the only known and accessible cave in the Prešov district, and a footpath leading through a meadow and a wood takes you there.
The standard tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and is physically undemanding, making it suitable even for young children. Sturdy footwear and warm clothing are essential, as the temperature inside the cave remains at just 7°C all year round. As a result, around 250 bats, comprising 12 species, hibernate there.
