The Srdiečko Viewpoint is one of the interesting tourist attractions in the area around the village Lipovce in the Prešov district. It is, therefore, a relatively short walk that can be included as part of a family day out or as a brief stop whilst exploring the wider area around Lipovce.
The route follows a road at first, then continues across a meadow and a well-maintained forest path. After a walk of about ten minutes from the signpost by the cave, visitors reach a small clearing with a well-maintained campfire site, above which stands the Srdiečko rock viewpoint. The walk itself is therefore not merely a means of getting to the destination, but a pleasant part of the trip, during which one can take in the tranquillity of the forest and the characteristic landscape Šariš.
Views of the Lipovský potok valley
The main reason to visit Srdiečko is, of course, view. The viewpoint offers a view of the valleys of the Lipovský Stream and the surrounding natural scenery. Forests, rocky cliffs and rugged terrain create a landscape that is attractive in every season. Route to The Srdiečko Viewpoint It starts at the car park by the road leading to Zlá diera Cave, near the village of Lipovce.
