Čierna hora (667.1 m above sea level) rises above the town of Svidník between the villages of Jurkova Voľa, Rovné and Cernina. Initially, a pyramid 9.36 m high was built on the top, later a measuring tower 21.83 m high was erected in its place. In 2006, a new tourist lookout tower was added, in the shape of a quadrilateral igloo, the base of which is 5 x 5 m in size. The tower is three-storeyed, the first floor is at a height of 5.5 m, the second at 10 m and the third at 14.5 m. The lookout tower is topped with a roof and its total height is 18 m. In the immediate vicinity below the lookout tower you will find a tourist shelter. There are annual hiking trips to the lookout tower and the shelter. You will pass Ostrý vrch, where the grave of an unknown Russian soldier from World War I is located. Every year a memorial mass is held at the grave for all those who died in World War I and World War II.
