The Jánošíková Bastion is a limestone rock formation above the Hornád valley located west of the village of Kysak. It belongs to an important natural landmark of the surroundings. From the cliff, the visitor can enjoy a beautiful view of the panorama of the valley with the Hornád River, the Humenec Nature Reserve, the villages of Veľká and Malá Lodina, the panorama of the Slanské hory Mountains, and also the castle hill with the ruins of Kysak Castle. Jánošíková Bastion is also a popular climbing terrain.
