Outdoorpark - rope centre

Prešov Outdoor Park is a sports and leisure complex in Prešov, which combines active recreation, climbing, rope obstacles and adrenaline-fuelled attractions. There’s something for everyone here – children, adults, individuals and larger groups alike. Whilst the youngest visitors can explore the simpler rope obstacles, more experienced visitors can head up to greater heights or put their climbing skills to the test.

The complex is also a place where you can spend several hours without the whole programme being based on just one activity. After exercising, visitors can relax in a café, bistro or on the terrace.

High-altitude rope course

One of the main attractions of the Outdoorpark is the ropes course. The high ropes obstacles are situated approximately 8 to 10 metres above the ground, and participants tackle them after receiving training from an instructor. There are both shorter and longer circuits available, offering a variety of challenges and testing participants’ balance, coordination, courage and ability to cope with situations at height.

There is a separate track for children Lanachik, designed for children aged approximately 3 to 8 years. Older children can try out the low rope obstacles, which also serve as preparation for the more challenging high courses.

Thrilling jumps and a zipline

Outdoorpark also offers attractions for those looking for a real adrenaline rush. The complex includes Big Swing, Tarzan leap and the zipline. It is precisely these attractions that offer a completely different kind of experience to traditional rope courses – rather than gradually working your way through a course, this is a short, intense experience in which courage plays a key role.

Before tackling the high obstacles and adrenaline-fuelled attractions, an instructor will brief visitors on the rules and how to use the equipment safely. For one-to-one assistance, you must book in advance.

Climbing for beginners and experienced climbers alike

The Outdoorpark also features a climbing centre with outdoor climbing routes and an indoor bouldering hall that is open all year round. The climbing walls offer routes of varying difficulty, so both complete beginners and experienced climbers can test their skills.

Bouldering combines traditional rope climbing with bouldering. In bouldering, you climb without a rope at a lower height above a soft landing area, which allows you to focus primarily on movement, technique and solving individual climbing problems.

Via ferrata training and active leisure

Outdoorpark also offers a via ferrata training facility, which allows visitors to try out the principles of moving along secured routes and practise the basic skills required for via ferrata climbing. The site is therefore not only appealing as a place for a one-off outing, but also for people who wish to improve their climbing skills and movement at height.

The variety of activities also makes it possible to tailor the programme to the participants’ ages and abilities. Whilst one member of the group may be climbing the wall, another can try out the rope obstacles and the youngest children can have fun on the children’s obstacle course.

A place for families, groups and businesses

The Outdoorpark is suitable for a wide range of visitors. Families will find activities here for both children and adults; groups of friends can combine sport with an adrenaline rush; and company teams can use the site for group activities and to strengthen team spirit.

Another advantage is the opportunity to relax right on the premises. The café and bistro offer a place to enjoy refreshments and sit down, whilst visitors can remain at the heart of the action and watch their children or friends playing sport. There is also a gazebo with barbecue facilities.
