The city of Prešov is the only city in Slovakia that can boast a beautiful cycling complex with a velodrome meeting the parameters of the international cycling federation UCI in Paris. Its length is 333.33 m, the track width is 7.5 m, the banking is 37° in curves and 12° in straights, which creates the conditions for higher speeds. In the past, the stadium did not serve the general public, but only organized cycling. Nowadays, several mass events are organised here throughout the year. The stadium has come to life, and is visited daily by amateur cyclists and skaters from the wider surrounding area.
