A small town which, in addition to two manor houses, offers you a unique viaduct and a gateway to the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Hanušovce nad Topľou are located in the north-eastern part of Slovakia in the valley of the Tope river. Its territory is part of the Beskydy foothills and the Hanušovská pahorkatina, marginally affected also by the Slánské vrchy Mountains, which stretch to the south-west of the town.

In Hanušovce nad Topľou there are precious historical-architectural and historical-technical monuments, of which at least the early Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Renaissance-Baroque manor house of the Dežöfi family and a series of four viaducts from 1939-1943, the largest of which arches directly over Hanušovce, is built in an arch and at the time of its construction was one of the largest in Central Europe. All visitors to the town will be gladly welcomed by the Museum of Local History with its permanent exhibitions, occasional exhibitions and the archaeological park. The surroundings of the town are interesting both from the natural history, hiking, mushroom picking and recreational and sporting point of view.
