John Lennon Alley, Kláštorská Street, Bardejov, Slovakia

John Lennon Alley

Near the Basilica of St. Aegidius in Bardejov, in the adjacent park you will find the shortest street of the city „John Lennon Street“. The small place will offer you not only rest but also interesting stones with the names of the most famous albums with the names of the Beatles band members. You will also be struck by the thematic facade sculptures and graphics of the legendary band members on the adjacent house. The latter belongs to local Beatles enthusiast Pavel Zajac, who lives in the house. On its west side, there is an original forged sheet music of two famous songs by Liverpool's „Beetles“, as well as a metal triptych and a relief portrait of Jonno and Yoko Ono. In the basement of the house is a gallery dedicated to Lennon and The Beatles.
A commemorative event is held here every 8 December to mark the anniversary of John Lennon's assassination.
