Apart from Prešov, it passes through cities such as České Budějovice, Regensburg, Karlsruhe, Chalons-en-Champagne, the Paris suburb of Roissy with Charles de Gaulle Airport, and the town of Sarcelles. After leaving the European mainland, it continues to the Canadian island of Newfoundland, crossing the town of Gander. In Canada, the parallel runs into the Lake of the Woods and, for 2 000 km, forms the national border between Canada and the USA up to the Pacific coast near Vancouver. After crossing the Pacific Ocean, it encounters the northern part of the Kuril archipelago, continues through the Sea of Okhotsk, the southern part of Sakhalin Island and the Tartar Strait, and passes through the Russian town of Sovetskaya Gavan and the town of Birakan in the Jewish Autonomous Region of Russia. After crossing the Amur River, it moves first through Chinese territory and then on to Mongolia - specifically to the cities of Erdenet and Olgii. At the border with Kazakhstan, it crosses the 4 000 m high barrier of the Altai Mountains. After a long journey through Kazakhstan, it returns to Russia and continues again in Europe. At Dubovka, north of Volgograd, it crosses the Volga River and enters Ukraine at the towns of Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Komsomolsk and Kalush. It returns to Slovakia via the northern outskirts of Snina, again to Prešov.
