Its route is marked by a stainless steel strip running between the buildings at Hlavná 115 and Hlavná 124. Visitors therefore do not need to seek out any separate attractions outside the town centre – they simply need to stop at the marked spot whilst strolling along Hlavná Street and symbolically cross this significant geographical boundary.
The urban character of this attraction is also one of its great advantages. The 49th parallel in Prešov is freely accessible outdoors and it can be included in a tour of the most significant sights in the historic centre.
