Sigord – water reservoir with a shipyard. The Sigord water reservoir is only a 15 minutes’ drive from Prešov in the heart of beautiful nature. Thanks to the civic association Čavargy, this locality has come to life again. In 2017 the civic association has become a supporter of the local music scene and organized several sports events in the area. The shipyard is located in a beautiful natural scenery, near fireplaces, comfortable seating and a wooden bridge over the Delňa stream. Thanks to the help of volunteers, an educational trail was built around the reservoir, the so-called “Sigordské koľečko” (Sigord Circle). Strolling along the trail, you can find information boards detailing the local fauna, as well as new benches with a beautiful view of the water. The stroll takes no more than 30 minutes. In summer months you canrent a boat or hop on a tourist train Malý Muk – Sigord Racová. In winter, be sure to take your skates with you!
