After a one-year break, we once again experienced the atmosphere of a travel adventure. Last week we took part in the International Tourism Fair ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2022. From 28 April to 1 May, we presented the tourist potential of the Šariš region at the Incheba Expo in Bratislava. Its exposition was part of the stand of the Prešov Self-Governing Region and was under the sign „Prešov Region - Unesco Region“.
We, the Regional Tourism Organisation Región Šariš, were also represented in the Prešov Region. During four days we presented our offer, which allowed potential visitors to look into our promotional materials, inform and inspire them with the rich offer that our region has to offer.
In addition, we introduced our project „Šariš Castle Route“ to the visitors of the fair, which aroused the greatest interest. Another positive response was the comprehensive tourist guide - Welcome to Šariš, which guides tourists through the diverse cultural and historical monuments, preserved folk architecture, captivating nature, accommodation options and gastronomic experiences. The limited edition Salt Bansko toliar, which has also found its collectors in Bratislava, has also attracted attention.
We believe that the tourism fair brought visitors a dose of inspiration for a holiday in the Šariš region and, in turn, new inspiration for its further development.
