This group, which built its musical foundation in mainstream jazz, has been on the scene for a whopping thirty years. CHANSON EVENING OF EVA PAVLÍKOVÁ & BAND   Slovak actress and singer Eva Pavlíková will present a chanson concert accompanied by his band featuring well-known chansons by local and international authors as well as musical melodies. Eva Pavlíková takes the art of chanson singing with its emphasis on content as her own and thus fulfils the legacy of director Jozef Bednárik to keep this musical genre alive and spread it further among the people. The lyrics have been translated into Slovak by leading Slovak lyricists such as Ján Štrasser, Nora Beňačková, Olga Záblacká. This introduces an additional, new element of content and expression into their meaning. Eva Pavlíková artistically enriches the musical-dramatic art of this genre with the actor's testimony and the experience of a woman, the artist, with an unrepeatable authentic performance. Songs like Cherries, To Live Was Worth It, Letter to Mum, Consolation, You Were Nice and others will find their listeners and fill our hearts with tenderness, humility and love.
