Historic guesthouse in the very centre of Prešov is situated in a former burgher house, which was built in 1903. The overall morphology of the historic building, which is completely preserved from the outside, is eclectic with historical inspirations of Baroque and Art Nouveau. This building is one of two buildings in the city that were declared a historical landmark of the city of Prešov by the city council in 2009.
The entire building was completely renovated between 2016 and 2017. The guest house has eight separate accommodation units, which have their own sanitary facilities. On two floors there are two apartments equipped with fully equipped kitchens and six rooms. The total capacity is 17 fixed beds composed of professional hotel beds with 27 cm high mattresses made of natural materials and high quality hotel linen. The accommodation units are equipped with underfloor heating, including bathrooms. The entire building is designed with the environment in mind, using solar energy, air recuperation and intelligent internet-controlled control. On the ground floor of the building there is a small reception area and a lounge. In the basement there is a small vaulted wine cellar and a Slovak brick cellar for holding small meetings. Natural materials such as marble, granite, glass, wood and forged steel have been used in the guest house. All furnishings and equipment are inspired by Baroque and Art Nouveau. In our guesthouse you will feel like in times gone by, but pleasant and cozy you can look with feeling at the historical works that are in the interior and feel the suspension of the passage of time, of which we have so little.
The property includes a sensitively landscaped garden. The edge of the garden is lined with emerald tui. The garden includes a children's playground, a large wooden swing and a huge cherry tree which is over 100 years old. The main feature of the garden is a wooden gazebo with seating for about 25 people and a large garden barbecue. A unique addition is our garden spa. The Finnish barrel sauna made of spruce wood can accommodate 6 people. The best relaxation is in the Canadian wooden tub with stainless steel furnace and bubble bath made with cedar wood.
