National Marriage Week at the Regional Museum
During National Marriage Week, all branches of the Regional Museum offer discounted free admission 1+1 (second entry free of charge). We invite couples and couples to spend time together in an environment of history, art and cultural heritage.
Our involvement includes a special edition of the popular Tea at Five series, dedicated to marriage in the collections of the Regional Museum.

„MARRIAGE IN THE COLLECTIONS OF THE REGIONAL MUSEUM: PORTRAITS OF THE BUJANOVICS“
Lecture by Mgr. Art. Ivana Ramáčová will introduce the personality of Šándor Bujanovics - now almost forgotten politician and landowner, as well as the fate of their family through portraits from the collections of the Regional Museum. She will also present the work of the Hungarian painter Sándor Endreya (1867-1940), the author of both portraits. Special attention will be paid to the restoration research and the process of restoring the works, from the initial examination to their final form.
The event is open to the general public and admission to the lecture is free.
