In December's Discovering Prešov, we will focus on the events of 80 years ago, when at the end of World War II, just a few days before Christmas, our city was hit by devastating bombs that destroyed many lives and devastated a large part of the city.
We will commemorate the difficult and painful moments of the city at the places where the bombs fell together with Ľudovít Petrašek, the author of the publication "And the light was like day" and the film documentary "Stalin's candles over Prešov", which will bring us closer to the course and consequences of the bombing.
You will learn more about the bombing of Prešov if you come on Sunday 15 December 2024 at 14:00 in front of the TIC in Prešov at Hlavná 67. Andrea Sivaničová will accompany you.
