Orthodox Church of St. John the Theologian

In the post-Christmas time, we will enter the silence of the seminary Orthodox Church of St. John the Theologian, where we will discover the world of beautiful Byzantine icons, with which the entire temple, as one of the few in our territory, is inscribed. We will find here the basic icons,
feast, apostolic, prophetic, as well as icons of Slavic saints, saintesses, martyrs and martyrs. Protodeacon Jan Husár will be the guest and guide through the traditions and canon of Byzantine Orthodox icons. 

If you want to learn more about the icons, come on Sunday 12 January 2025 at 14:00 in front of the TIC in Prešov at Hlavná 67.

Andrea Sivaničová will be accompanying.
