In October, the Park of Culture and Recreation will mark the 65th anniversary of its foundation and on this occasion it has prepared an Open Day connected with the discovery of its premises, which are
much older. But in the past this building known as the Reduta, built in the courtyard of the Čierny Orol inn, served culture. Concerts, balls or self-education societies, Casino, Slovak Matrix and library.
You can also discover the history of the Park of Culture and Recreation if you come on Saturday, 12 October 2024 at 10:30, 12:30 or 14:30 in front of the PKO.
