The fifth year of the running event From Ľubotín to Plaveč Castle brought a great sporting atmosphere and unforgettable experiences for both small and large runners. This year more than 140 participants - children and adults - and for the first time the event was held in charitable spirit.
Proceeds from the entry fee and voluntary contributions were donated to little Juliana, a seven-year-old girl with disabilities who is undergoing challenging therapies. The support helps to improve her quality of life and progress her development.
Children's races on 100, 300 and 600 meters provided a lot of joy and enthusiasm for the youngest athletes. The main run, hobby run and Nordic walking recorded new participation record, when the number of starters increased by 11 compared to last year.
OOCR Región Šariš supported the event with gift packages for participants and winners, thus appreciating the sports spirit, determination and commitment of the runners.
The event was a success thanks to great organization PaedDr. Dominik Jakubkobič, race director, and in cooperation with By the municipality of Plaveč. Thanks to all participants and partners for the energy and joy they brought to the event.
OOCR Region Šariš plans to continue to support activities that bring value to the community and make the region visible as a place of sport, nature and human stories.
