The Šariš region and the city of Prešov are rich in culture, tradition, original ideas and innovation. The pilot year of the Treasures of the Region event will kick off in Prešov at the end of September. It will build on the tradition of the Prešov city markets and will present authentic products of regional producers and stories of successful companies in the field of technology, crafts, design, ecology and food industry in a new way. Exceptional hand-made creators will also be presented.
Treasures of the Region will offer a space for original presentation of exceptional creations, brand stories and products of important Prešov and regional companies, organisations and individuals. It is an opportunity to raise awareness of local production wealth, human potential, technological innovations. It is also an opportunity for companies to reach new customers and present themselves as an attractive employer. The event will will take place from 23 to 25 September in the centre of Prešov on Hlavna and Florianova Street. During the three-day event from 11.00 to 19.00, visitors can try individual products, get involved in their production, be part of interactive workshops and participate in various activities from regional creators.
In the pedestrian zone will present companies, producers and artists not only from the region, but from the whole Prešov region. The Elmira company, which incorporates elements of Slovak tradition into the costumes, will point out that we should preserve our traditions. A world unique in the east of Slovakia - the Slovak Opal Mine will present novelties that have made this place more attractive in recent months. With their products and expertise you will find companies such as Spinea, Tomark, MK Illumination, SEAK, Bamida, Lear, Sadex, Zupelig, Miron Glass and others. Garment manufacturing will be well represented. Gemor Fashion, Odeva and A4ka will be present. Street drink zone near the main stage will be co-created by Prelika Distillery, Šariš Brewery and Víno Verita.
During Saturday, the event will be held directly at the recording of the podcast special „On the Trinity in Pairs“ with Jozef Verbovsky. A live stream with the exhibitors will also be available later on various platforms.
In addition to the presenting stands, the event includes rich cultural programme. Local bands, local artists and theatre and film will also perform. All visitors will be energized by the children's folklore ensemble Šarišanček and the folklore ensemble Šarišan. After a monodrama performed by Milka Zimkova, the tragicomic story of the film She Grazed Horses on Concrete will be projected on the screen. There will also be well-known songs by the bands Iconito and Hrdza, which combine Slovak culture with contemporary music. Sabinov's own, acclaimed DJ Dlugosh will also perform. The bands BB Country, Zojco & STF Band, Eleven Hill and Gapa will convince you that Prešov is a mecca for musicians and singers.

At the same time, the successful Street Food Festival at St. Nicholas Cathedral, which guarantees an exceptional gastronomic experience with a selection of local and exotic cuisine.
