Hana is finishing her novel. Matúš wants to move out because, when she’s writing, she’s impossible to live with – for example, she claims that the main character of her novel is living with them in the flat. A boy who draws atlases of people. A family friend who’s a psychiatrist reckons that a parallel world could be brilliant, provided you can drink red wine in both of them. So far, so normal, right?
The problems begin when Hana finishes writing her novel. First, there are the women’s handbags that are far too small; then come the crosswords and the culinary theme. And who organised the demonstration with the slogan: „Someone here knows the reason!“ ? And is it even right for the punchline to come some time after the story has ended?
