This year’s burčiak season continues into the last week of August, so we’d like to invite you to the event Burčiak season in Viecha!
When? 28 August 2026 (Friday) from 4.00 pm to 11.00 pm
29 August 2026 (Saturday) from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm
Where? Viecha pod klenbami, Hlavná, Prešov
On Friday, they’ll be delivering from the winery for you Château Modra white burčiak, which will also be available on Saturday. Over the coming weeks, they will gradually start offering burčiak made from various varieties of both white and blue grapes.

11 September 2026 and 12 September 2026
18 September 2026 and 19 September 2026

Viecha pod klenbami also offers the option to pre-order burčiak and come and collect it to take away. Pre-ordered burčiak must be collected during opening hours on Fridays by 9 pm, unless otherwise agreed in advance; the minimum purchase is 2 litres, and the price per litre of burčiak to take away is 8 euros. The burčiak is sold in plastic food-grade bottles.
