The first lady of Czech soul, native of Ostrava, great singer, pianist, composer prepared great gala concerts with the Septet Plus Orchestra
There will be proven hits as well as songs from the beginning of her career, for which Marie Rotter earned the nickname „Lady Soul“. Of course, accompanied by a musical ensemble, you will also hear her best-known songs that have brought her to the imaginary OLYMPUS: „ The river of love, Love you smell of rain, The wagon has gone, The shells of nuts, Apparently there are no flowers anywhere this year, We should have met earlier, Don't mess with that fool...“
Marie Rotter is one of the most popular Czech singers. She made her first gramophone recording with the band Flamingo (Flamingos), with whom she performed for a large part of her career. Alongside her musical career, she also embarked on a career in television and acting. She shone in a Slovak musical film Don't take the princess away from us. Her 22-part TV show „Divadélko pod věží“ was a success, where she invited interesting guests from various areas of public life.
Petr Nemec /guest of the concert/ is a Moravian singer, composer and musician who has devoted his entire life to music. He has performed with the band Flamingo and as a soloist, and has duets with „Marie Rottrova or Vera Spinarova“. He retired in 2013. Nowadays, he performs only occasionally, for example as a guest at Marie Rottrova's concerts.
