The opening concert of the music programme for the fourth edition of the festival FESTUM PREŠOV 2026 will be in the spirit of a genre that is particularly close to the hearts of the people of Prešov and has been one of their favourite musical experiences for decades – Operetta for Prešov.

Audiences can look forward to an exceptional evening filled with unforgettable melodies, enchanting arias, songs and duets from the works of the greats of the operetta world, such as Franz Lehár, Emmerich Kálmán and other notable composers.
Leading soloists will take to the stage Operas at the Košice National Theatre – Tenor Titusz Tóbisz, soprano Tatiana Hajzušová, baritone Oliver Olejár, Štefan Hajzuš – saxophone. Piano accompaniment – Júlia Grejtáková.
The concert will showcase the elegance, refinement, humour and romance that make operetta a timeless musical genre. It will serve as a dignified and festive opening to the festival’s fourth edition FESTUM PREŠOV 2026 and an invitation to all lovers of beautiful music.
