Festival FESTUM PREŠOV 2026 will culminate in a concert Christmas spirit, which will symbolically get visitors in the mood for the approaching Christmas festivities. The final evening will feature music full of joy, tranquillity and the cosy atmosphere of the Advent season.

The following will be performing on stage Klasik Band, an orchestra based at the Jantárová 6 Primary School of the Arts in Košice. The ensemble was founded in the 2007/2008 academic year on the initiative of teachers Ján Samsely and Monika Samselyová, and over the years it has developed into a respected musical ensemble.
The orchestra, comprising around 25 members, is characterised by its systematic approach, musical enthusiasm and exceptional team spirit. Its line-up includes wind instruments, a rhythm section, keyboard instruments and vocalists. Its repertoire consists of popular music, jazz, swing and well-known international tunes in original arrangements.
The Klasik band performs regularly at concerts, festivals, competitions and major cultural events, and throughout its history has collaborated with a number of leading figures from the Slovak music scene. Concert CHRISTMAS SPIRIT will be a fitting finale to the festival – an evening filled with beautiful music, a festive atmosphere and pleasant emotions, which will symbolically bring this year’s festival to a close and, at the same time, will herald the start of the Christmas season.
