An Irish comedy with characteristic humour and warmth. In their monologues to one another, three women talk about everything – the ordinary, the unusual, the surprising, the significant, but also the pleasantly banal and everyday – that one year in their lives has brought. The leading ladies speak just as the words come to them, and their language is truly Irish in flavour. These superb, intertwining monologues – free of sentimentality and brimming with humour – depict not only their inner feelings but also their everyday worries, joys, family relationships and integration into the community.
