Hold on to your hats for this original comedy play Oh, those women of ours It’ll go right to the core.
Oh, those relationships… romantic, family, friendships, but also the relationship we have with ourselves. They hold up a mirror to us without mercy, 24/7. Some of them bring out only the best in us, whilst others reveal our darker side. ‘Women – it’s no good with them, but worse without them,’ as the classic saying goes. Men talk a lot about them, but in reality they understand very little about them.

An original comedy by Eric Assous, steeped in humanity It raises more than a few pressing questions. To what extent do we really know the people around us? Indeed, when life gets a bit tough, we often get to know ourselves better too. Find out for yourself in this comedy whether friendship is more than just a noble concept. Allow yourself to be swept away into the stratosphere of a long-standing friendship, where life’s events intertwine until a tangle of comical coincidences, unexpected blunders and shocking twists emerges. Will truth prevail, or the instinct for self-preservation, or…? And perhaps you’ll even recognise a little of yourselves in one of the main characters.
Let yourself be inspired by this trio of brilliant the actors Karel Roden, Juraj Kemka and Marián Roden, alternating with Ernest Čekan to trust one’s own sense of what is right. Jakub Nvota took the director’s chair. The comedy, based on a French original, is being staged by the Povalač Theatre.
The successful play was also adapted for the big screen in 2015.
