There will also be a programme for families with children on Saturday and Sunday, and the Chestnut Menu and Chestnut BEER will be on offer too.

A Christmas premiere of hits such as ‘Murik’, ‘Ľeto’, ‘Ľubi vipic’, ‘Trachtor’, ‘Šerco’ and ‘Slaďak’ – do give them a listen:
8.00 pm Raptor Koch and the Band
A grand comeback in grand style. Friday evening under the Chestnut Trees, by Petrová Lipa, with Raptor and his mix of freak pop, punk, psychedelia, lo-fi and experimental music.
SATURDAY 10 October 2026
(for children and adults)
4.00 pm Džemiaky
A meteorite flew in from Jupiter. It broke into pieces in the atmosphere of Džemegule and fell onto a field behind the village. Potatoes grew from it – semi-aliens. They call themselves the Džemiaks. They preserve their scientific findings like jam in their songs. They perform as a family animated band, so you won’t be afraid of them. Such a country, such Gorillaz. We’re looking forward to them flying over to us at Stromko this year.
5.00 pm Edo Klena (vocals, guitar) and Ján Višňovský (saxophone)
Their musical collaboration goes back a long way, and we can look forward to a meeting of two distinctive musicians from Prešov, who have plenty to say together even without a large band on stage.
SUNDAY 11 October 2026
4.00 pm The Book of Job: A Live Performance
Braňo Jobus – a musician, writer, storyteller and a man with a gift for turning ordinary things into extraordinary stories. This time, however, he will be picking up his books and reading from them. His stories are full of imagination, absurd humour, playfulness and wordplay that both children and adults will enjoy. In his books, Braňo Jobus creates a world of his own, in which nothing is quite as it seems at first glance. And anyone familiar with Jobus’s humour knows that we certainly won’t be bored.
5.00 pm Jobusovka concert
(Braňo Jobus – vocals, guitar, unusual instruments; Filip Hittrich – bass guitar; Jakub Hittrich – drums)
Come and enjoy a cheerful and original concert full of music, stories and humour. Braňo Jobus, author of the popular books, will tell you stories and sing about the greatest heroes from his fairy-tale worlds – Ancijáš the mouflon, Chrontulienka, Commissioner Mrodge and other unforgettable characters.
A band has been formed by a trio of fantastic musicians – and, above all, good friends – that will delight not only children but also their parents.
The concert will also feature a showcase of unusual musical instruments, such as Ancijáš’s spade and the legendary satellite broom-guitar.
Braňo Jobus also performs with her in an opera at the Slovak National Theatre (SND), and at the concert you’ll also hear her final song in a reworked rock version.
