The Prešov Regional Museum will shed light on the dramatic events surrounding the cholera epidemic which struck the territory of Hungary in 1831 and had a significant impact on the lives of the inhabitants of eastern Slovakia.

Visitors will learn about the spread of the disease, the measures and restrictions imposed by both state and church authorities, as well as the methods of prevention and treatment intended to help those infected.
