This September’s ‘Discovering Prešov’ series will be dedicated to two figures from Prešov’s Jewish community, whose youth was marked by the war and the Holocaust. Agnes Kalinova a Róbert Cvi Bornstein They were the same age; both were born in the mid-1920s, both studied at the Evangelical Grammar School, and both were expelled from it under anti-Jewish laws.
You’ll find out what became of them and which places in Prešov are linked to their stories if you come along on Sunday 13 September 2026 at 3.00 pm* in front of the Evangelical Combined School at 3 Námestie legionárov in Prešov.
