Following on from September’s music, we want to round off our fruitful year in October by showing that the same Sport also has the power to bring people of all faiths together. We’re bringing you a really interesting topic: DO YOU KNOW WHAT MACABI IS?
You’ll discover the powerful historical story behind this global movement; we’ll explore the fascinating origins of Jewish sport, various historical curiosities, and you’ll get to see the original Maccabi Cup in person. But that’s not all!
We are also in for a special visit. Straight from the Slovak Championships in Zvolen, Patrik Tomko, a Slovak powerlifter living in Norway, will be coming to inspire us.
