INTERGENERATIONAL DIALOGUES 2 – WE ARE BROADENING THE DISCUSSION WITHIN THE DISTRICT
The second meeting in the Intergenerational Dialogues series will take place:
When? 10 September 2026 (Thursday) at 5.00 pm
Where? Meeting room at the Town Hall, Veľký Šariš
Together, we will explore the following topics:
- human rights and tolerance
- the history of prejudice and racism
- the experiences and perspectives of different generations
- cyberbullying and hate speech online
- draft recommendations for the forthcoming Code of Respect
The event will be hosted by PaedDr. Michal Šmetanka, which will create a space for open and constructive discussion between young people, older people and the general public.
We believe that it is precisely mutual understanding and dialogue between generations that help to build communities based on respect, cooperation and tolerance.
