When the protagonist decides to celebrate his lover’s birthday at his country house over the weekend whilst his wife is away, he sets off a chain of absurd events. To cover up the truth, he involves a friend in his plan, unaware that the friend has long been harbouring a secret of his own. And when a maid with the same name as his mistress turns up, the chaos really kicks into gear. Lively dialogue, brilliantly constructed comic situations and constant surprises keep the audience on the edge of their seats from start to finish. Come and enjoy a show that will have you laughing so hard you’ll barely be able to catch your breath – and you might even recognise yourself in one of the plot twists.
