We would like to invite you to an event Music in the Synagogue, this time featuring a leading Czech band Ostrava Klezmer Band, which performs traditional Jewish music from Eastern Europe with tremendous energy. Their repertoire combines poignant klezmer melodies with elements of jazz, folk music and spirited Balkan rhythms. Their music is built on virtuoso performances on instruments such as the violin, clarinet and accordion, complemented by captivating vocals in Yiddish.

The band is renowned for its ability to get the audience dancing, whilst maintaining a deep respect for the genre’s historical roots. They regularly perform at international festivals and cultural events, where they share the joy of the authentic and vibrant klezmer tradition.
