What happens when we juxtapose classical virtuosity and the naturalistic folk tradition. Will the dulcimer stand up to the interpretation of works from the 17th and 18th centuries? And what kind of music actually sounded behind the walls of the Strážnice castle? These questions will be answered by the concert programme of the MusEquality ensemble, which enthusiastically accepted the invitation to the courtyard of the manor house in Fintice on 21.6.2026 o 18:00.
The label "classical music" may evoke the image of a refined atmosphere of a concert hall and an orchestra playing long symphonies. In doing so, composers often drew inspiration from folk music, from the moods, rhythms and temperament of the countryside. Come along with us to transport classical works back to the environment from which they originated. During the concert we will follow the path of dramatic baroque, through lively gypsy music, tender romanticism and rhythmic chanson. Classical music will also be included. The above overview of works is not just a relic of the past, but a living and tangible value that continues to inspire new generations. Whether you are a lover of classical music or your heart beats for folklore, we invite you to a musical gathering on Sunday evening in the courtyard of the manor house in Fintice, where the two worlds come together in a unique dialogue.
